Delivery Information

1. Standard Delivery (UK Mainland)

1.1. Standard delivery to GB mainland is free of charge on all orders and typically takes 3 to 5 working days from the date of dispatch.

1.2. Orders for underlay only are dispatched via Royal Mail 2nd Class, which may take up to 2 additional days.

1.3. Customers will be notified within 24 hours of placing an order regarding the expected dispatch and delivery date.


2. Fast Shipping - Next Day Delivery

2.1. Next Day Delivery is available for website orders only (not by phone). Orders must be received by 2:00 PM (Monday to Thursday) for same-day dispatch. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the following working day.

2.2. Deliveries are made between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday. A signature is required upon delivery.

2.3. If no one is available at the time of delivery, the courier will leave a calling card with details for re-scheduling or collection.

2.4. Next Day Delivery Charges:

  • GB Mainland: £20.95

  • Saturday Delivery (on request): £25.00

Please note:

  • Next Day and Saturday delivery are not available to the following postcode areas: AB, IV, KW, PA, PH, DD, FK.

  • Isle of Wight, IV, KW, PA and PH: Size and weight limits of 10 feet by 8 feet (3.05m x 2.44m) or 30kg apply. Orders exceeding this will incur additional fees, advised prior to processing.


3. Large Rug Deliveries (Over 230cm)

3.1. Delivery for large rugs typically takes 7 to 14 working days due to their size and handling requirements.

3.2. Two delivery options are available:

  • Doorstep Delivery

  • Ground Floor Room Delivery and Placement
    (If delivery is needed to an upper floor, please contact us in advance to discuss arrangements.)

3.3. Delivery of large rugs is available to England and Wales only. For Scotland or other regions, please contact us prior to ordering.

3.4. Clearance or sale rugs may incur additional delivery fees depending on your postcode. If applicable, you will be notified before your order is processed. You are welcome to inquire about these charges prior to ordering.

3.5. Large rugs may be delivered by a single-driver service (such as TNT). Assistance may be required upon delivery. If you cannot assist, please contact us to arrange an alternative delivery method.


4. Stock Availability and Dispatch Times

4.1. If one or more items in your order are out of stock at our distribution centre, we may experience delays while transferring items from our stores. This could extend delivery by 3 to 5 working days.

4.2. This consolidation helps ensure items arrive together, reduce disruption, and maintain consistency in style or colour (where applicable). Customers will be notified in the event of such a delay.


5. International and Offshore Delivery

5.1. For delivery to offshore UK destinations or international addresses, please email us with the product(s) and full delivery address. We will provide a shipping quote based on your location.


6. Consequential Loss

6.1. While over 97 percent of orders are delivered on time and without issue, delays or courier errors may occasionally occur.

6.2. FrithRugs will make all reasonable efforts to resolve such issues but cannot accept responsibility for any consequential loss, including but not limited to missed appointments, project delays, or third-party costs resulting from delivery issues.


7. In-Store Purchases

7.1. Delivery terms for in-store purchases may vary. Please speak with your local store team for full details on in-store delivery policies, which differ from online orders.
